Individual/Family Counseling

Individual and family counseling are our most common treatment approaches when working with children and adolescents in the child welfare system. Whether mental health or substance use issues, or both, our individualized treatment approach focuses on the complex and unique circumstances in the lives of these children. Family counseling is essential in many situations for the purpose of reunification, to prevent separation, and to strengthen parental, sibling, and/or alternative family arrangements. Our therapists are trained in trauma-informed treatment and use a strengths based approach in counseling these resilient children. Your family, is Our Family!

Psycho-Social Rehabilitation

We a full spectrum of psychiatric services. Our licensed psychiatrists are trained physicians who diagnose and treat mental health conditions. A psychiatric evaluation helps deternmine the need for medication and makes specific treatment recommendations. Psychiatric treatment and medication management are available through our licensed psychiatrists, as well as, our highly qualified psychiatric nurse practioners. Psychiatric Treatment and Medication Management

Substance Abuse Prevention

Our Substance Abuse Prevention service is performed by master’s level clinicians and Certified Addiction Professionals that utilize evidenced based practices such as Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to assist client’s with increasing motivation to reduce or eliminate substance use. Clinicians may incorporate a combination of mental health assessments; individual, group and family counseling; crisis intervention and five panel drug screenings to ensure that client is progressing throughout duration of intervention services. Substance abuse interventions are conducted in a safe and confidential environment to maintain HIPPA standards as required by law.

Targeted Case Management

We provide Case Management services to children, adolescents, and adults with multiple and complex needs. The primary goal of mental health targeted case management is to connect clients with needed services, including medical, social, educational, mental health, housing, insurance, employment, financial, and other services, so they can function as independently as possible in our communities.

Gun and Gang Violence Prevention

Gun and Gang Violence Prevention is an intensive program that incorporates ceasefires; mental health screenings; individual, group, and/or family counseling sessions; substance abuse intervention; case management; volunteer opportunities; mentorship/apprenticeship; leadership and career development opportunities are provided as strategies and interventions aimed to reduce school suspensions, deviance, incarceration, and recidivism rates; all while increasing academic performance, positive behaviors, building positive relationships, and increasing the safety of our children and communities.

Spiritual Support

Spirituality and health are connected. Just as physical wellness describes health in the body, spiritual wellness describes health in the spirit. We provide social and emotional support, helping people find meaning and purpose in life or offer comfort in times of grief. We stand by our ethical and moral guidelines to help the patient reach its healing goal.
